Hello, friends! We are Colin and Becca Buffington. We are long term missionaries serving alongside Legacy of Hope Foundation. We moved to Honduras in January 2019 and fell in love with the family-based approach that Legacy of Hope offers to orphaned and vulnerable children. When Legacy of Hope decided to begin a sustainability program, we were thrilled at the opportunity to work as a husband-wife team and launch their coffee program. Who wouldn’t be ecstatic? I mean, amazing coffee AND all sales help sustain and grow these amazing orphan care programs? Yes, please! After our first year here, we caught the foster care bug and became a foster family under Legacy of Hope. It is both a joy and a privilege to be immersed in family-based care and to see the healing that can come from the love of a family.

Word of advise even if Becca is up and moving around she truly isn’t up till she’s had her cup of San Marcos dark roast. Even when you try to switch it to another roast she knows.

Colin will tell you, “I don’t even like coffee that much”, as he goes for his third cup of the day. Needless to say he lies and enjoys drinking Estrella Lenca Medium roast throughout the day.
